The 2nd Meeting of the Board of Management of the South Asian Centre for Teacher Development (SACTD), Meepe in Sri Lanka was held today, 27th Sep. 2019 at “Isurupaya”, Ministry of Education, Pelawatte, Sri Lanka.
The meeting was chaired by the Secretary- Education Mr. Nihal Ranasinghe and the Regional Director of UNESCO based in New Delhi, The Joint Secretary - Secondary and Higher Education in Bangladesh, the Chairperson - National Council for Teacher Education in India, Secretary General of SLNCU and forefront officers of the Ministry of Education and affiliated agencies of UNESCO participated at the meeting. The progress of SACTD was reviewed and the way forward was discussed at the meeting.
